- Wine is one of those things that you will never, it's like music, you'll never master all of it. You never try at all. You can never, but the journey and the people you meet along the way that you get to do those things with and everything is, that's the good stuff in life. Once I realized that every wine kind of serves a purpose it's kind of like guitars for me, like a certain song needs a certain voice of guitar that goes along with it. - Wine and music are I've said before that. I mean, they're both intangible really. That you can't, you can't just stop it in time and examine it carefully. They both change through time. To have a common goal of that approachable wine that it's balanced. That is for sharing with, you know, friends and family and food on the table. - So the people that won't necessarily love the big things in wine. But somebody that's very drinkable and it kind of pulls them into wine worlds. An owl is the perfect icon for our wine. The owl is the protector of the vines, but it also signifies mystery and curiosity and wisdom and all cultures all over the world have some kind of an explanation of spirituality of, with an owl. So it was one of the, it's one of the images of things that I'm naturally drawn to. - It's been a great partnership. We both feel that there's an integrity to authenticity and an expression of the grape variety, balance, and all these things are true to the wine. He's very focused on the wine and has a good palette. And it's been, it's been a great relationship at this point. - My goal with Uncaged was to find something that real wine connoisseurs could respect and appreciate what it is.
